This evening we had both a show and tell competition and a hands demontrations given by David Woodward and John Navin.

David began his part of the eveining by showing several bowls he had turned wet over the past few years to be stored to fully dry before completing the turning.  David had various examples showing how bowls could deform in whilst drying, he also had an example of a burr bowl which had staples he had used to hold the shakes to prevent them openning anymore during the drying process.
